Last week I came across this advertisement in Glorietta, about the VIP card that they only offer to OFWs and their relatives. There is not much in the card aside from a special pass to their VIP Lounge available in their Ayala malls, all the rest are just blah blah for now. I think Ayala is trying to capture the OFW consumer segment to sign up for their affiliated products such as those of BPI Loans and Investment programs. It's a disappoinment that the card did not contain MUCH freebies or discounts that a discount-savio-like-me is always hunting for.
Anyway, my main reason for card use is going to the VIP Lounge. From time to time, me, my wife, and my baby will visit Trinoma, stroll around, and relax a bit sitting on a comfy sofa while the baby is sleeping or just want to stop and play with us for a while. This is where the VIP Lounge would come as a convenient place for my family. We dont have to stay at Starbucks or other middle-to-high-end-stalls, buy their products, just to get that right of stay that we wanted.
I was able to visit the TRINOMA lounge. It's interesting. I saw some reading materials available, a Rattan sofa set and long bench and long tables for some group work or discussion maybe - very Filipiniana. Of course, there is the front desk. I did not enter though, just want to check the place for the first time. I also plan to visit their Glorietta branch so that next time I know where to go.
TRINOMA is easily accessible to us, and we may be able to visit Glorietta soon just to spend our weekends. Ayala Terraces will soon rise in Fairview area and I'd expect a similar VIP Lounge will be included.
More updates coming soon...
